I love Frick Park. It’s a great urban park inside of Pittsburgh with wooded trails, winding streams, and nice open fields. And it was the perfect location for Brie and Tyler’s engagement session on Monday. Although the weather was a little humid, we avoided rain and had a fun time traversing the trails. I loved how they were up for anything–rock skipping, hay throwing, and field jumping–you name it.
Brie and Tyler both work in the accounting field (way over my head) and attended the same college. Despite having similar classes, they didn’t meet until Tyler’s senior year. Fortunately, they made up for lost time, and after dating for a while got engaged last year. They are getting married this fall in Wheeling, West Virginia–their home town–at the Wheeling Artisan Center.
Brie discovered she was really good at rock skipping.

Brie brought along a “prop” for the shoot. Tyler regularly brings her flowers, so this sunflower was just another one he gave her. How sweet is that?
Can’t wait to see you two again in September!
