Lingrow Farm Wedding Photography | Tara and Nate

I had been looking forward to Tara and Nate’s wedding ever since I met Tara way back in the spring of last year. I loved the vision that she had for her wedding, and when I got to meet Nate at their Hartwood Acres Engagement session, I was even more excited for their wedding.

While we didn’t exactly get perfect weather for their wedding last Saturday at Lingrow Farm in Leechburg, PA (not far from Pittsburgh), they had a beautiful intimate wedding surrounded by wonderful family and friends (including lots of little ones–even a week old newborn!). Fortunately, we also managed to get some great photos outside around the farm before the deluge hit. Despite the humidity, Tara and Nate were awesome and up for anything–including a little boat ride! A big congratulations to these two!

Tara looked so classy in her dress…loved her hair piece, too!

I loved the bright yellow color of Tara’s J. Crew bridesmaid dresses. She scoured the internet to find them after the color was discontinued. Now that’s dedication!

Ah, I’m so in LOVE with this photo! Pure romance!

Oh wait, I love this one too!

When I saw the boat by the pond, I knew I wanted to get photos of Tara and Nate in it, but I wasn’t sure if they’d be up for it. I should’ve known better. After all, they did climb the pillars at Hartwood Acres.

It’s not every day I get to photograph a bride rowing in a boat.

Can it get any cuter than this?

Best groom portrait. Ever.

So, literally 10 minutes after we finished taking photos, this happened. Talk about rain on your wedding day.

Fortunately, everyone was inside listening to some moving toasts.

And then the sky cleared up, and we got a rainbow!

Before the night was over, I explained to Jay a particular shot I wanted to get, and he went off into the dark to take it. Success!

Once again, congratulations Tara and Nate!
