Happy Birthday, Jay!

If I were an eloquent poet, I might try to pen a poem about how wonderful Jay is. Or if I were a painter, I’d try to capture his handsome likeness in water colors. But since I’m neither of those things, I’ll just post some pictures.

This time last year we were celebrating Jay’s birthday in Edinburgh, Scotland, on the final day of our big trip. Has a whole year really flown by?

For Jay’s birthday this year, we celebrated it a little early in Texas with his family. In fact, there are several family birthdays in July, including his cousin’s and our new sister-in-law’s, Meridith’s. So, we had a nice little party, complete with balloon popping races, cake, and of course, presents.
