Kristen and Michael have been together since high school, and they’ve gone through many changes together, not least of all moving to Pittsburgh a couple of years ago. Originally from the Midwest, they made the trek to Pittsburgh for Michael to attend grad school (hmm…a familiar story). And now engaged and planning their wedding, they are about to head back that direction to Milwaukee.
But since they had a lot of great memories of Pittsburgh, Kristen knew she wanted to get some engagement photos taken in this city. After all, it’s where they got engaged. So despite a busy summer for them, planning a wedding, finding jobs, and finishing up school (not to mention, having to move again!), we managed to find some time this week to walk around Oakland and Pittsburgh’s North Shore for their engagement photos.

Christina Montemurro - These are great! I love Oakland – so many great spots. My favorite is the color photo shooting through the flowers (I think this is the spot right next to the Diplodocus by the library?).
