I don’t usually take a lot of pictures of myself–I usually prefer to be behind the camera. But sometimes I sneak in self-portraits like this one.

Wild Chickens in Kauai
One of the strangest things you quickly notice on Kauai is the abundance of wild chickens. They’re everywhere–wandering around the resort, hanging out in fields, eating along the side of the highways, and pecking about on the beaches. The only place I haven’t seen them is crossing the road.

After a very busy (and wonderful) spring, summer, and fall, Jay and I are taking a vacation. I am so looking forward to relaxing together and exploring the beautiful island of Kauai Hawaii. And of course, I’ve brought my camera. So stay tuned for some tropical photos. In the meantime, I probably won’t be responding...
