Snow Day

If you’ve been reading my blog for some time, then you’ve probably noticed I try to post something new every weekday. I do this for several reasons, the main one being that I want my readers to find something new and fresh every day, so they keep coming back for more. Personally, it’s no fun for me to visit a blog only to discover it hasn’t been updated in four months. I don’t want anyone to click on my blog and wonder if I’m still around. And secondly, I really want to build a connection with my clients, and I think blogging is a great tool for that.

But I must admit, it’s not always easy coming up with something new. Sometimes I feel like I’m totally boring my readers! I probably am… I know that some bloggers plan out what they’ll write for that week on Sunday night or something. I’ve tried that before, but it just doesn’t work for me. Somehow, it feels forced. Although I often make notes of topics I want to write about, I rarely know exactly what the week’s posts are going to look like until I finish them.

Like today, for instance. I had an idea of something I would write about…but when it came down to it, I just wasn’t feeling it. I’ve got a lot on my mind as I’m getting ready for the Foundation Workshop. I leave on Saturday, and I’m so excited! But there’s a lot of preparations I still need to complete (yay for packing!). So today, I’m taking a snow day.

I’ll also be taking a whole week off from blogging when I’m at the workshop. I know there just won’t be any time to blog…it’s very important that I focus on learning as much as I can when I can. And I’m looking forward to sharing what that will be. For now, though, enjoy the snow day!

Nancy Schwarz - I hope my granddog is out of the cold and back on his nice warm sofa. Love the contrast of his bright red jacket with the snow, though.

Nick S - Can’t wait to hear all about the Foundation Workshop! Go get some sleep! 🙂
