Allegheny Country Club Wedding | Emilie and Max

Finally, the day had arrived for Emilie and Max. After looking forward to their wedding for many, many days–588 to be exact–it was here. A consummate planner, Emilie had gathered ideas and inspiration for their celebration over the months, and every detail was attended to–with incredible results. Their guests were impressed by the beautiful reception at the Allegheny Country Club–great dancing, food, and music, and a rainy day was no match to Emilie and Max’s enthusiasm.

Emilie and Max’s wedding day was also very special to me for personal reasons. While I don’t play favorites, Emilie has been a bride who has kept in touch with me (reading my blog probably more than me!) over the year plus that she’s been planning her wedding. I felt I had an inside look into the excitement and anticipation she and Max had for the day. Their wedding was also my first one “back in the saddle,” so to speak, after having Harriet. It was a joy to start this year off with such a wonderful couple. A big congratulations to Emilie and Max!

Also, a special thanks to Milla and Madeline who photographed with me. Here are just a few favorite moments from Emilie and Max’s day.

Jenn - Mary – These are so absolutely beautiful…we absolutely CANNOT wait for our wedding in 2 weeks. We’re so excited!! I know the pictures will be amazing! <3

Valerie - beautiful photos – the candid shots really capture the excitement and anticipation of that special day

Milla - Wow, Mary, wow. Amazing as always, truly.

Christine Deucher - Absolutely wonderful Mary. How lucky Max and Emilie were to have you there to document their wedding day. Have a few favorites already – I’m sure I’ll have more. What a dilemma Max and Emilie will have to pick the ones for their album! Thanks for being there.

Sherry - Beautiful work Mary!

Emilie - Mary!

Max and I just looked through these together after our long trip back, the wait was worth it! The pictures are incredible. Max and I are so glad you were there to capture our day.
