Angela and Carl–4.25.2009

This past Saturday Angela and Carl tied the knot at the Hampton Banquet Hall in Gibsonia. Once again, the weather was perfect, and we enjoyed a quick jaunt over to St. Barnabas to take some outside shots.

Angela was absolutely beautiful–and very relaxed! Both she and Carl had one attendant each, which I think made things a little more low key and enabled them to have a fun group portrait session. The Hampton Hall’s DJ really kept the dance floor going all evening, and I think everyone enjoyed the celebration.

Angela and Carl’s Engagement Photos

Last Saturday I once again headed out to Hartwood Acres for an engagement photo session with Angela and Carl. Their wedding is actually TODAY! Let’s just say we were waiting for the weather to warm up for their shoot.

They brought their two dogs, and we had fun roaming around the area. I thought it was a pretty warm day, but looks like it was just a taste of things to come this weekend. That’s how it goes in Pittsburgh with spring weddings. I’ll be seeing them again in just a few hours.

Danniel and Scott– 4/11/2009

The Saturday before last I had the privilege of photographing Danniel and Scott’s wedding. They chose historic sites for their ceremony and reception, having the ceremony at the Old Stone Church in Monroeville and their reception at the Westinghouse Castle in Wilmerding. I loved the juxtaposition of the old with the new, and I thought the architecture provided some neat shots. It goes without saying that Danniel was absolutely stunning.

It was impossible not to enjoy Danniel and Scott’s wedding–their excitement was contagious, and their family and friends made the night fun. No one was going home in a hurry! Here are some photos from the day:

Avyn and Scott–4/4/09

This past Saturday turned out to be a perfect spring day for a wedding, and I headed out to the Hartwood Mansion to photograph Avyn and Scott tie the knot. Let’s just say I almost cried during the ceremony–Avyn was so sweet and beautiful, and Scott was completely adoring. After the lovely ceremony, they enjoyed a great reception at River Forest Country Club in Freeport. Here’s a sneak peak of some of the moments:
