In any industry, there’s usually a collection of terms and abbreviations that only insiders know the meaning of. With wedding photography, it’s no different. Of course, this makes it simpler for photographers to talk shop, but it also means a lot of terms to describe what we do are thrown about and used interchangeably for different things, leaving many clients confused as to what it all means.

Details, details, details. Although I don’t often showcase a lot of photos of wedding details, it doesn’t mean I don’t think they’re important. It’s just that I’d much prefer to show a photo of a bride and groom overjoyed to be married on their wedding day than a pretty little bouquet of flowers. But, I also know that most every bride spends many hours planning and sometimes creating the details for her wedding day…and they do make a difference.
