Capitol Hill Baby Photography | Kate is One

What is that–the sun?? Despite the crazy rainy weather we’ve been having in DC lately, I’ve actually had a number of great photo sessions. The clouds can’t diminish the cuteness of this sweet baby girl. I photographed miss Kate when she was six months old–it’s amazing how fast the time flies!

Here are a few favorites from this Capitol Hill photography session.

Capitol Hill Family Photography | The “B” Family

What a beautiful morning we had for this family session a few weeks ago on Capitol Hill.  Getting up early has its perks–we practically had the Capitol to ourselves!

I so enjoyed photographing little Roshan with his parents and sibling-on-the-way. I mean, can it get any cuter than the first-learning-to-walk stage? Here are a few favorites from this family session.

Cherry Blossom Family Photos | DC Cherry Blossoms

They’re beautiful when they’re here, but they don’t last for long! I look forward to hosting my Cherry Blossom mini-sessions each year, despite the unpredictable nature of the blooms. Fortunately we had both nice weather and lovely blossoms on the day of the sessions.

Here are a few favorites from the cherry blossom beauty.

DC Children’s Photography | Two Brothers

As I watch my own daughter and son begin to develop a relationship, it’s beautiful to see the connection in siblings. Despite the inevitable conflict from time to time, there’s something truly wonderful about having brothers and sisters.

I so enjoyed photographing these two brothers on a recent (chilly) spring day at the National Arboretum in DC.  I hope these photos remain a sweet reminder of their friendship for many years to come.
