This beautiful little girl was recently welcomed by an excited big brother and two wonderful parents. Lake is an absolute little doll…so very precious. I was so glad to meet her and take her newborn photos with her family in Cheverly, MD a couple of weeks ago.
Also, her grandma brought the vintage baby scale…how cool is that?

It’s amazing how much babies grow in just a few short weeks and months. One of the fun things about doing “a year’s worth” of photo sessions–ie, several photo sessions over one year–is seeing how much the baby has grown in just a few months. I’m looking forward to watching Will grow over the next nine months.
I recently met him and his wonderful parents at their home in Alexandria, Virginia, for the first in our series of baby photo sessions. We began at three moths old for Will–which is a super fun age I think because babies are usually smiling and interacting a lot. Will’s grin didn’t disappoint!

Baby Connor made his parents wait a while before getting to meet him. But he was definitely worth the wait! I recently met up with them at their Sykesville, Maryland home to take some family newborn photos.
Connor is a sweet little guy, and I enjoyed taking his first photos with his family (including his four-legged sibling!). Here are a few favorites from this newborn session:
Our great grandson is very special as Allison was the first
grandchild. He is so precious and sweet. LOVE-LOVE-LOVE!!!
In a break from the heat, I recently caught up with this lovely family for some updated pictures on Capitol Hill. I last saw sweet baby Becket when he was just a wee newborn, so it was fun to see how he’s grown. And of course it was fun to catch up with big sister Amelia, too.
