I just spent half an hour or so mulling over a post, punching letters on my well-worn keyboard, and erasing and rewriting sentences for a great blog entry. Then midway through, I just scrapped it all. It just sounded boring. Not useful. A failure.
Well, Nevermind That | A Pretty Picture Will Do
September 2, 2010 - 2:58 pm - You photographed our wedding in January and Caitlin and I still check your website on almost a daily basis just to admire your work. We're not looking at our wedding (hey, we've already got those wonderful pictures). We're looking at the other engagements, weddings, and various photos you post because we love your work. The pictures, the write-ups, the whole thing. You do extraordinary work. You have an exceptional grasp of and dedication to your craft. (P.S. Our moms loved their wedding albums. Thank you.)

Ode to my Chacos
My sister had gotten a pair, and therefore, I wanted one, too. Despite trying to deny it, I did look up to her, and I usually followed her cues when it came to fashion. But, these pair of sandals could hardly be called fashionable.
September 1, 2010 - 7:34 pm - Hannah - do you know you can get your Chacos resoled for $40? Got to chacousa.com for details. Mary - did you have yours rewebbed? If not, I can't believe what good shape they're in. Mine are only 3 years old but the webbing is just about shot in some places. I'm hoping they'll hold out till the fall and then I'm going to get them rewebbed.
August 31, 2010 - 1:46 pm - Mary- I had that same pair of chacos, and I still love them. And by the way, I got mine after seeing how cool Martha's were. I was really bummed last year when the soles had worn out. I got another pair (thanks to my beloved husband), but they still are not as wonderful as my first pair (which I refuse to get rid of!) I am glad that yours are still working for you! -Hannah
August 31, 2010 - 12:32 pm - Oh sister, have you discovered Borns yet? I have a pair of gold strappies that are perfect - cute, slight heel, and they dress up or down. They easily rival my Chacos for comfort and look way better. And I've walked miles and miles in them with nary a blister. My record for one day was over five miles while pushing the two boys. They're not cheap either, but well worth it.
Pittsburgh Maternity Photography | Brianne
Although I usually photograph weddings and engagement sessions, I also enjoy shooting other kinds of portrait sessions, including family, newborn, and maternity. This past week I met up with Brianne and her husband Kevin for a maternity session at Frick Park.
September 1, 2010 - 6:43 pm - These pictures are great!
