While Jay and I had an absolutely wonderful trip to Texas, in which we managed to visit every major city in the state, we are glad to be back home. I think Astin is glad, too. After picking him up from his dog-sitters and bringing him back home, he promptly headed for our bed and took a nap. I think he was wore out from his “staycation.”

I’m in the midst of trying to restock our fridge, run some errands, and just get everything caught up today. But, I wanted to go back in time and share some of the rest of our trip. Last Monday was our final day in Dallas visiting my family, so Jay, Albert, Rudy, and I went to the park to hang out, toss a Frisbee, and run about.


I wanted to get a shot of Rudy jumping with his cute little legs. Not bad for short fella.

And naturally, a shot of Albert jumping seemed to follow. Wait for it…

…wait for it….

Yes!

And I already miss him!
