Don’t let the long name of this title post turn you off–not only was the Duquesne University Power Center Ballroom a gorgeous location for Dorothea and Brian’s wedding, but their entire day was filled with wonderful moments, beautiful details, and lots of celebrating.
The morning started off, as usual, with me with the girls and Jay hanging with the guys. Everyone converged at the lovely St. Mary of the Mount church on Mt. Washington, where Dorothea and Brian exchanged vows and rings. Then we headed off for a few stops for group photos, including the necessary view of downtown Pittsburgh. Then everyone enjoyed a fabulous reception at the Power Center Ballroom on Duquesne’s campus. Since Dorothea is an event planner, you can only imagine how well thought-out everything was.
A big congratulations to Dorothea and Brian!
I loved Brian’s expression as he watched Dorothea walk down the aisle.
