Continuing with the theme of fun winter engagement sessions, Katie and Brian also braved blustery winds and the cold ski slopes for their engagement photos this past week. Hidden Valley Resort is not only the place where Katie grew up, but it’s also where she and Brian met, eventually got engaged, and where they will be tying the knot come this October. Besides all that, it’s where they spend most of their weekends in the winter..so it made perfect sense to photograph their engagement session there.
I love it when couples make their engagement session more of a fun date than strictly a photo shoot. It’s not only more enjoyable for them, but the photos are more meaningful, as I’m able to create a snapshot of their relationship and life together. Thanks Katie and Brian for the fun day! I’m looking forward to your wedding.
And here’s a little tip for those nervous about your session: start the session with a drink or two!
Katie’s younger brother came out of the house to see what we were up to. So Katie and Brian did the only sensible thing and tossed him in the snow.
