The beautiful spring weather continued when I met up with Dorothea and Brian on Tuesday in Pittsburgh’s South Side Works. This was my first time doing an engagement session in this area, and I absolutely loved it. It’s also a special place for Dorothea and Brian because it’s where they got engaged last June.
They were celebrating Father’s day with Dorothea’s family when Brian surprised Dorothea with a ring. They both tossed some pennies into a fountain, and Brian asked Dorothea what she wished for…he then dropped to one knee and told her “This is what I wish for…” (big awww). Come October he’ll get his wish!
Dorothea told me the photos with the bike were perfect because she’s going to be riding the MS-150 bike race in June (you go girl!).
Dorothea is quite ticklish…as Brian likes to demonstrate.
It was a hot day…nothing like a cool beer and a glass of water at Hofbrauhaus to quench your thirst.
And of course we had to visit the Hot Metal Bridge.
I’m sure this is exactly how it happened.
And we saved the best for last…running through the fountains in front of the Cheesecake Factory.
Yay, thanks for such a fun engagement session! See you two in October!
