On Saturday Jay and I spent a wonderful day with Erin and Zack and their family and friends at their beautiful Westin Hotel wedding in downtown Pittsburgh. And although it rained–no poured–in the afternoon, we still captured some amazing moments and incredible photos. Of course, with a stunning couple like Erin and Zack, it was easy!
I started off the day at MCN Salon in Shadyside, where the salon mascot has free reign. Later, Erin got ready at the Westin Hotel with her bridesmaids. She and Zack decided to see each other before the wedding, and we were able to get some bridal party photos before the deluge hit us. They exchanged vows at First Lutheran Church in downtown Pittsburgh–a short walk–if it wasn’t raining–to the Westin Hotel. Naturally, the heavens decided to open right as the ceremony ended and people needed to get back to the hotel. Instead of going around to places downtown for photos, we decided to make the most of the beautiful interior of the hotel for photos of Erin and Zack. I think they rocked it!
Then the party really started as the Westin Hotel put on an incredible dinner for guests. I can’t say enough about how wonderful this place is! I would definitely recommend it as a great reception location. Erin and Zack, a big congratulations to you both! I hope you’re enjoying a wonderful honeymoon in Antigua!
