The first time Rachael and Tim set a date for their engagement session, we got hit by a characteristically sudden Pittsburgh thunderstorm. So, we decided to reschedule to another date. This past week for their engagement session we got heat and humidity instead of rain. That’s Pittsburgh for you.
Although Rachael and Tim grew up in the same area and knew each other in high school, it wasn’t until they moved away after college that they reconnected and began to date long-distance. They eventually found themselves in the same city, and after a particularly bad day for Rachael, Tim surprised her by proposing. I guess that day wasn’t too bad after all!
I met up with Rachael and Tim along Pittsburgh’s North Shore near PNC Park and Heinz Field. We tried our best to keep cool, but there was no avoiding the heat. Still, we had a great time and got some wonderful photos. I’m looking forward to their wedding next month!
Who knew Heinz field had such greenery?
Rachael and Tim braved traffic to get a classic bridge shot. Love it!
Rachael and Tim–thanks for the fun session, and I’ll see you soon!
