San Antonio Wedding Photography | Sarah and Boot

I couldn’t believe the day had finally arrived. I remember when Sarah first told me that she had gotten engaged…way last summer. Somehow, the months passed quickly and we were meeting up in College Station on the Texas A&M campus for her bridal portrait. And then, it was June and summer…and then it was her and Boot’s wedding day!

And it was a beautiful day…Sarah and Boot have such wonderful family and friends. I was in awe of how everyone came together to pull the day off, and it was such a privilege to get to share in the celebration. A big congratulations to them both!

Sarah was gorgeous.

We grabbed a couple photos of the guys before the ceremony. I hadn’t gotten to take this kind of shot in a long time: an Aggie Ring shot. Whoop! But wait, there’s one impostor!

Love this shot Jay captured.

Not everyone seemed thrilled about the ceremony.

Then it was the lovely ladies outside (in the Texas heat!). Ha, the little flower girl wasn’t too pleased with this setup.

And off to the reception for some good ol’ Texas BBQ and festivities. Heh, way to go, Sarah!

To start of the dancing, Sarah and Boot had a Grand March dance, where everyone could join in.

As the sun began to set, we ran out for a couple of minutes to sneak some photos of Sarah and Boot.

Ah, I just love that Texas sky.

Beautiful.

This is what happens when the bride wears her boots.

And lastly, the Aggie war hymn. Gig ‘Em, Ags!

Randi Voss - Mary, how awesome that you got to shoot a wedding on you “home” turf. I used to work with many Aggies, so I know all about those rings. Great job on your use of the mirror as a theme in the bridal prep photos.

Amanda Allen - These are beautiful! I can’t wait to see more! Mary, you and Jay make a great team and Sarah was lucky to have you both capture her greatest day! Jay, I love the photo you got of Sarah and Dad! Awesome!

Sarah Chumbley - I love the photos! You did an awesome job and captured so many great moments of us, our family and friends! Thank you Mary!!! You are a true friend and I’m glad we got to spend some time together too!
