Photographing a wedding is a lot of work, and I realize I should brag a little more about how wonderful Jay (my husband) is, and how important he is to my business. He faithfully comes with me to every wedding and second shoots, allowing me to capture different angles and sides of the story that one person alone might have a hard time doing. He also helps in organizing people, and he carries the camera bag, which is no small task. I also appreciate the fact that he knows just how my day went. He was there, too, after all. Aside from all of the help, though, it’s just plain fun to have him with me.
And in random moments during the day we like to take photos of each other “on the job.” The sillier, the better. I don’t often share them, but here’s a small collection from a number of weddings this year. Enjoy!

One of the things Jay also does is model for me when I’m setting up the lighting at receptions. He likes to have a little fun with it.

I actually haven’t shared this wedding yet…but more photos are coming SOON. Very soon. I just pulled these out as I was editing. Who’s got the biggest camera? Yeah, that’s what I thought.
And last, but not least, this photo makes me laugh a lot. I kind of got stuck in the middle of the crowd. The look on my face is priceless. “Uh, this is fun…right?”

Evonne - These are as priceless as the actual photos of your couples! And yes, Jay is amazing! Not only a big help with photography, but also good for a ride from the salon back to the hotel too! You guys rock!!!
