Birchtree Photography’s Holiday Schedule 2010

This is a first for me. I’m sitting in a metal tube five miles in the sky, sending emails, updating my Facebook, and punching out this blog post. Yep, thanks to Google, Air Tran has free Wifi on all their flights now through January 2nd. Sweet!

Although it feels like I just got back from vacation, Jay and I are off again to visit our families for Christmas in Texas. The thing I’m most excited about is getting to spend time with my family, but this trip also affords me two additional benefits. One is that I’ll get to enjoy (hopefully!) warmer weather. And two is that I will once again avoid decorating for Christmas for the 5th year in a row. I know, some of you will think I’m Scrooge for a statement like that, but I am just not big on decorating for the holidays, yet. Maybe I’ll get into more when we have kids. I think it’s the having to put everything away at the end of the festivities that is most depressing. I promise I’m not a complete Grinch! I do like Christmas!

So all this means that I will be out of the office for the next couple of weeks: December 16th through January 2nd. I’ll be answering emails, taking phone calls and blogging, but just not as regularly as I normally do. If you have an urgent request, please call me. Otherwise, I’m looking forward to catching up with everyone in the new year!

And in keeping with the spirit, here’s a photo from my parent’s-in-law’s Christmas tree from last year. (Since I didn’t decorate one of my own!)

Nancy Schwarz - I thought I recognized that ornament in the picture! We are so, so happy you and Jay are getting to be with your family in Richardson and then coming our way too. See you soon.

Milla - Oh! Your blog post answered my question… Airtran! 🙂 Have a wonderful trip… can’t wait to see you again in January!
