On Saturday I met up with Jen and Mike in Pittsburgh’s Station Square. Jen told me she had bought a sweater for the occasion, expecting it to be cool. Instead, we had summer-like temperatures! Ah, but this Texas girl isn’t complaining…
Jen and Mike got to know me through their good friends, Abby and Brad, and I’m excited to see both of them again at Jen and Mike’s wedding in October. That’s also how Jen and Mike met…through their friends. At the time, Mike was working at his parent’s shop and was covered in car grease when they first met, so Jen affectionately calls him her “grease monkey.” Looks like he cleans up well, though!
I had a lot of fun hanging out with these two people…Jen is the kind of person that makes you feel like an instant friend, and she is always laughing and smiling–no wonder Mike asked her to marry him! Can’t wait for their wedding!
