Julia + Paul=LAUGHTER. When they imagined one of their engagement photos hanging on their wall, Julia and Paul told me they’d be laughing in it. And I must confess, they make me laugh, too. It might have something to do with the fact they love a lot of the same TV shows Jay and I enjoy (the Office, 30 Rock, and Seinfeld), and they get that sense of humor. But, I would say it really has more to do with the fact that Julia and Paul are very much in love with each other. And that makes me happy.
For their engagement session, we decided to meet up on the Montour Trail in McMurray, PA, close to Julia’s parent’s house and where she spent many hours walking as she grew up. Even she and Paul had a lot of memories walking and talking along the trail when they’d be in town for a visit. And despite it POURING cats and dogs right before we started the session, the sun came out for a few minutes, and we were able to get some great photos. When the sky threatened more rain, we headed back to her parent’s house to make crab cakes. Yep, one of the things Julia and Paul love to do together is cook, and crab cakes are their specialty. I thought it was so FUN because it was totally them. I love it when couples choose to do things that are meaningful to them. An engagement session doesn’t have to mean a pretty park…grilling outdoors or baking inside could be just as fun in my opinion!
So, ready to see some laughter?

So, Julia told me she dances like Elaine on Seinfeld. Naturally, I wanted to see an example. I can’t wait to see more of this at the wedding! Love it!
