The beautiful weather continued for Katie and Max’s engagement session on my last day in NYC. Since they actually live in Hoboken, NJ, it made sense to photograph Katie and Max’s session along the shore there where they often walk their sweet dog, Kobi. Kobi, in fact, almost stole the show! She’s a pup Max rescued from a shelter. I must admit I’m partial to shelter dogs, having one myself. I also love the fact that you’re able to give one more dog a wonderful life when you adopt.
Hoboken is a special place to Katie and Max where they have a lot of shared memories together, so I was glad we could do their session there! Not to mention, it was a gorgeous setting with the Manhattan skyline as a backdrop. I really enjoyed spending the evening with them both, and I’m looking forward to their wedding at the Nemacolin Woodlands Resort this August! Thanks guys for the fun session (and for helping me navigate the train over to you!).
