Unless you’re having both your ceremony and reception at one location, you have to think about transportation for your wedding. With all the details to remember on your wedding day, having to figure out who’s driving whom or making sure everyone in your wedding party knows where they’re going is one more thing you don’t want to worry about. Aside from your typical limo or limo bus, you have one more fun option in Pittsburgh for convenient transportation: Molly’s Trolleys.
Of course, your transportation needs are going to be determined to some extent by how many bridesmaids and groomsmen you have. If you have a small bridal party–only one or two attendants each, it may be possible to rent an SUV and everyone pile in together. But if you’ve got more than a couple of bridesmaids and groomsmen, then you’ll need to find something that can accommodate a bigger group. Your average car limo may feel a little cramped, and a bus limo may not suit your style. A great alternative to either of these transportation options is Molly’s Trolleys. Obviously, these are not real trolleys–they don’t run on tracks–but their elegant styling, wooden seats, and brass trim make for a classy-looking ride. They can accommodate up to 32 passengers, which is usually plenty of seating for your wedding needs.
What I particularly like about the trolleys is their wide windows and open feel. You can get impressive views of your surroundings while still having a great time with your bridal party. More importantly, though, I’ve noticed they have great customer service. Their drivers are knowledgeable about where they’re going and courteous to everyone. That may not sound like much, but believe me, I’ve ridden along in limos where I knew more about where we were going than the driver. Not good!
