Pittsburgh Children’s Photography | Liv and Harrison

This latest portrait session was so fun, I don’t think words can add much to the photos. But I will say that when parents allow their kids the freedom to be themselves–instead of coaxing them to cheese it up for the camera–I’m able to capture them as they really are. Those kind of photos, in my opinion, are so much more meaningful than a fake grin at the camera. You can’t get these real images from a big box portrait studio.

Thanks to Liv and Harrison’s mom for having me spend a fun afternoon with her family!

Kimberly - Mary the pictures are wonderful. Love how natural they are. You caught the real Livi and Harrison. Love what I’ve seen so far. Can’t wait to see the rest.

stacey - Mary, tears form in my eyes everytime I look at these! You captured them as I see them everyday! I know I can’t stop time but you slowed it down just enough for me with these pictures! I can’t thank you enough!

Nancy Schwarz - The little boy with the dandelion and the little girl with the fall leaves…..a perfect set!

Nicole - I love how these pictures capture them as they naturally are. Beautiful work.
