What’s not to love about celebrating Independence Day? With good ol’ American traditions of friends, food, and fireworks, the 4th of July is one of my favorite holidays. Plus, it’s summertime, and you can’t go wrong with that.
Last year Jay and I enjoyed the 4th out at the Big Butler Fair, but this year I’m going to head downtown to see the fireworks–my last chance to catch them in Pittsburgh. (I will be honest, I am looking forward to partaking in the Capitol 4th of July celebrations next year). So wherever you are celebrating today, enjoy the time with family and friends and remember what great freedoms we have here in the US.
I’m hoping the fireworks downtown are a little more impressive than the ones at the fair last year.
